Loans Regina should read the same for everyone: on a screen reader, by keyboard alone, zoomed on a phone on a Regina Transit bus along 11th Avenue, or one handed in a mitt at a stop on Albert Street in January. This page explains how the pages are built and how to tell us where one falls short.
How the pages are built
Each page is plain HTML: text that is text, real tables for the cost figures, and a layout that wraps on a narrow screen and holds at 200% zoom. There are no popups, no motion, no autoplaying media and no third party widgets.
Headings, images and links
Headings run in order, one H1 followed by H2s and H3s, so a screen reader's heading list reads like the page map. Every image carries alt text that says what the photo shows, the Legislative Building across Wascana Lake or a prairie road in snow, instead of repeating the heading. Link text says where a link goes.

Scripts
The only script on the site is the small one in the footer that writes the email address, kept out of the text so address harvesters cannot read it. Every word, table and link appears with scripts switched off, and the apply button is an ordinary link.
Keyboard, menu and FAQ
Every link, the menu and the apply button can be reached with the Tab key, focus is visible on each one, and a skip link at the top of each page jumps past the menu to the article. The FAQ questions and answers are plain headings and paragraphs with nothing to expand, so a keyboard or a screen reader meets them in order.

Colour contrast and text size
Text and background colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio, and no meaning is carried by colour alone. The site's green accent is tested against its background, and body text is dark on light. Text resizes with your browser settings, and a high contrast mode is respected.
The application form
The application runs on a separate lender matching service; if its form does not work with your assistive technology, its support contact is on the form and in your confirmation. The how it works page walks through each step in plain text, including the read-only bank verification.

Report a barrier
If a page fails with your screen reader, keyboard, zoom setting or contrast mode, write to the email address in the footer with the page address and what happened. Accessibility reports are answered within two business days, and the fix goes live as soon as it is tested. We do not claim certification or full conformance; we test with a keyboard and a screen reader and fix what we find. The contact page lists what else we can help with.
