Loans Regina publishes information and one apply button. It is not a lender or a broker, it keeps no office in Regina, and nothing here is advice about your finances or your legal position. The figures are legal caps and worked examples, and the lender sets the terms.
Information, not advice
These pages describe how payday and installment loans work under Saskatchewan and federal law; they do not weigh your situation. They cannot see your pay deposits, the rent on a suite in Cathedral or the size of your January power bill, so they cannot tell you whether to borrow, how much or from whom. Nothing here is legal advice either; a question about a lender's conduct belongs with the FCAA or a lawyer.
Figures are illustrative
Every dollar figure on this site is a legal ceiling or an example worked at that ceiling, never a quote. When the payday loans page says a $300 loan costs $42 and $342 comes back on your next pay date, that is the arithmetic at the $14 per $100 cap, and a lender may charge less. When the installment loans page shows a payment at 18% to 35% APR over 3 to 60 months, the payment depends on the rate and term offered. The cost of borrowing disclosure on your agreement is the number you sign for.

What the cap wording means
"Capped at $14 per $100" means the most a licensed Saskatchewan payday lender may charge, all fees included, under The Payday Loans Act and The Payday Loans Regulations; it is a ceiling, not a rate we set. The $1500 maximum, the 62 day limit, the 50% of net pay rule, the next business day cancellation right and the rollover ban come from the same statute; the 35% APR top of installment lending comes from section 347 of the Criminal Code.
The lender sets the terms
Approval, the amount, the cost or APR, the repayment date and every other term are the licensed lender's decision, not ours, and nothing on this site means a lender will make you an offer. Check that a payday agreement names the lender, states the total cost in dollars, sets the repayment on your next pay date and carries the cancellation notice the Act requires. Once you sign, the lender's agreement governs, not any sentence here.

Our sources
The Saskatchewan rules on this site come from the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan, which licenses payday lenders and publishes the borrower's rights, and the federal rules from the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada. Regina detail stays descriptive: we name the lake, the highways, the hospitals and the neighbourhoods, never a lender, an address or a count we cannot source.
The last updated date
The law, the caps and a lender's prices can change after a page is written. The last updated date at the top of each page records the day it was last checked against the statute and the FCAA's guidance. We do not promise that a figure here matches a lender's latest disclosure. The terms of use set the liability limits and the referral disclosure explains how the site is paid.
